And now we're caught in a swarm
of dead things and places torn
Worn and exposed to sickness
You should have done more
********
We could’ve done everything and more
Done nothing
We could’ve done everything and more
Done nothing
We could have done more
A portrait of you came into my room
She tells me what to do
Tells me to think of a time
Before my old corroded blood wasn’t yet drawn
And they hadn’t sworn that you were gone
As quick as the dusk reaches the dawn
The memories crawl away
Thought I heard her say
Am I losing you?
I swear that I was there against the wind
facing the sun
Am I Losing you?
Or maybe you weren't here
Or you were here
Or maybe she was you
Gone are the times when we were young and brave and free
And we were able to breathe a righteous air
and dance with the trees
Without you there is nothing here for me
Without you there is nothing here for me
Run and hide from the
Run and hide from the swarm
of dead things and places torn
Worn and exposed to sickness
We could have done more
Like pray that god has gone to reset the sun
Burns like sand on our feet
That we haven't felt or seen
Regurgitate the days we wasted away
Like cockroaches and clock motors
they all look so similar
Please don't leave me here in my cracked leather chair
My cracked leathered skin
My broken aching body
Don't leave me alone in my aching body
Am I losing you?
I swear that I was there against the wind facing the dark
Am I losing you?
Or maybe you weren't here
Or you were here
Or maybe she was you
Gone are the times when we were young and brave and free
And we were able to breathe a righteous air
And dance with the trees
Without you there is nothing here for me
Without you there is nothing here for me
Ukrainian band The Nietzsche pair blistering 100-ton hard rock riffs with arena-scraping melodies in these volcanic songs. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 6, 2022
Even for this genre the sheer intensity of this album always manages to floor me. Might not be the most unique album under the sun but it doesn't have to be; the performances are tight and ferocious, the songwriting is dynamic and explosive, the production is crushing, it's just all things to a mathcore fan. napalmsatan
