lyrics
Staring out the car window, flicker of time
Frames keep passing by
In my subconscious mind
Daylight leaves behind
Free my shadow to dance in night
Why do we loathe the dark
The sun keeps eluding me and I can't see
Can't see through the night, maybe i'm where i should be
Or i'm blind
Can't see through the night
Vision disappearing, swallowed by sky
Warmth is abandoning
Tell me why
Can’t see through the night
What if the suns to fall from the sky
And what if I can’t go on?
What if the moon's to hide away
And i'm consumed in this dark
What If I can't go on?
Bear the weight of the world n' still holding strong
What if I can't go on?
What it if I can't?
Go on.
Maybe i’m where I should be
Staring out the car window
Flicker of time
Frames keep passing by
In my subconscious mind
Daylight leaves behind
Free in shadow to decide
Where my purpose lies

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
